Arrowhead Medical Centre

I have been going to this clinic in Point Cook ever since it opened and have been very happy with the service. Due to recent changes on the website if you’re not 15 or under or you’re not on a healthcare card or DVA patient we are now charged a fee to see a Doctor. I understand it’s fair to charge a fee but your fees are very expensive for the first 15 minutes $75 and then another charge after that if it’s an extended consultation then if a prescription is written up it’s another $40 I just don’t understand what I am paying for when l pay my initial consultation fee for of $75. I am quite disappointed with how expensive your fees are and all these extra things that we used to get in one consultation under Medicare is now charged as individual items. I am a frequent flyer to your clinic so it’s going become very expensive for me which I can’t afford for my health so I most likely will have to find a clinic that is more reasonable with the charges and put patient care first before business. I work in the health system, I can see why the emergency departments are so overloaded it’s because GP clinics are not catering for the community. Your fee structure needs to be a bit more fairer for everybody not just people on concessions DVA and children under 15 we have a lot of sick people in the community who have illnesses that are chronic and need assistance so charging $75 a pop to come in and just get results on something and then if they need a prescription charge another $40 I think it’s very unfair. Arrowhead to keep a good reputation in the community and look after patients in our community please revise your fee structure and make it fair for everyone who can access your services.

Terrible doctors, we waited 30 minutes which we didn't mind but the doctor couldn't tell us what exactly was wrong and we went in for 7 minutes and they charged us $180 for a long consultation...DON'T GO HERE THEY ARE TERRIBLE!

My son had a deep cut and was bleeding and it took them 45 minutes to attend to him in an emergency condition

Excellent service! We have been going to Arrowhead for the last two years following a friend recommendation. Dr Chigoze and his team of Drs are really dedicated and professional!

Terrible. Had an ignorant doctor who had to 'look up' to check if my medicine could by issued with repeats and eventually relented but gave me only ONE repeat when I've been on the same medicine for 10 years and always been given 3 repeats. She also tried to tell me my medicine isnt on the PBS- it is, it costs me $12 for 3 months supply.

Excellent patient/doctor interaction. Asked relevant questions about symptoms and always take what time is needed for the examination. Very happy with tge doctors and psychologist there.

Very modern clinic. Short waiting times, knowledgeable doctors.

I changed over to this centre not long after it opened and I'm extremely happy with the service and attention I've received.

The waiting times here are much shorter than other clinics in the area and the doctors listen to their patients instead of constantly answering calls.

I arrived as a new patient with a complex history that needed careful management. I'm pleased to have found a doctor I can rely upon for professional care.

My wife was unwell and took her at Arrow Medical centre. The apparently doctor is very unprofessional and lack of experience. The apparently doctor asked us for the symptoms and she googled to find out in front of us and start reading. Seriously. I can do that myself.

Anyway, she still didnt understand anything and she had to call her senior to ask for help. We were later told to do a blood test and since she will be away the next day, we were told one of her colleague will call us early in the morning the following day. We waited until 11 am and I called the receptionist, a guy answered and he said he will make sure one of the doctor to give me a call urgently.

I waited until 3:30 pm, then called again, this time a lady answered and said no one will call me because the doctor i seen is away and other doctors will not look into this issue. Woow what a service.

May be in the coming months I will get a call notifying me of their closure. USELESS, USELESS, USELESS facilities

If you have no other options and want to throw money in the garbage bin, then by all mean go there. Else, I strongly advice do not go there at any costs. They dont give a damn about you.


Best part of all the apparently doctor's web browser has so many tabs opened for online clothing and shoes shopping. She was busy shopping in between customers LOLLLLL. It would have been wise if she used these times to better learn her job.

This facility doesnt even deserve a zero but unfortunately Yellow Pages rating only starts from 1 to 5 only and its very unfair to give this facilities a 1 as it doesnt deserve it. Negative ten (-10) would be more appropriate.

I took my father to this place last Saturday. He is an international tourist with no medicare and the receptionist told me it would cost $75 for a standard GP visit. After meeting the GP, the receptionist chucked in $90 on the EFTPOS machine without telling me. When I asked about the difference, he mentioned that there is an extra $15 charge after 3pm on Saturday. I just muttered that this was not told when I first asked about the charge.

I will not recommend a medical centre that cannot be upfront about their fees.
