Remote Equipment Repairs

I am writing this review, mostly because of the 'one star' review I saw when I looked these guys up online.



I have had four (or so?) things repaired by RER, things ranging from and older Macpac sleeping bag, the tub of a tent, and other similar things. They have given a longer life to older backpacking gear. I would recommend them to anyone, both in terms of the quality of work and their communication. I dealt with Pam there, who was helpful. I just do not believe the other reviewer.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DID NOT COMPLETE ORDER. I have used this company in the past when they were in the CBD. I had an urgent repair job to be completed so I made my way out to their Point Cook site. I got a quote for the work and it was due to be completed in a week. I mentioned that the deadline was very important. The work had still not completed after a week and it when it passed the due date, I rang and they told me it would not be ready for another many days. I told them that unfortunately I was out of time and had to leave, and would have to come and pick it up without the work being done. Jaquie (Staff) replied without any apology and in a very dismissive manner 'fine come and pick it up'. I told her I was not at all happy about the work order or professionalism and she replied 'Whatever'.
