You Guys Nigel and Binni and lots of others are so right, he is the most arrogant and uncaring man there is, he is a rip off and cannot be trusted, our car was there for rego ..blue slip..the car was unregistered but everyday he placed our car on the street unregistered and that is illegal , we coped a fine for this from council, when we said whats going on here to him we were told he accepts no responsibility for vehicles left with him although he parks it there everyday on the street... (unregistered) ..he also tells lies , does work to your car without consulting with you..we were told $800 to $1000 work to be done ....when we went to pick up ..it was $2000... we didn't have the money, that day..so we left and told him we need more time to get the money together...when we called to let him know we were coming he told my wife it was $2500....we were shocked....what happened there??? and yes when we turned up 2 weeks later again.....with $2500 cash in hand...he said it was $2660.00 ...we only had $2500 on us ...I lost it now ....we wanted to see the invoice ..BUT HE HADN'T DONE IT.. we insisted but he couldn't give one right there and then as he hadn't done one...we gave him $1660 in cash ...wrote out a stupid receipt to us..and we took the car....he went to the police ...to say we hadn't fully paid ..and took the car.... now we had no mechanical s done to the engine ..... the original quote $800 to $1200 was for a diff bolt , and front bearings....but he decided to put tires on it without our approval ..he said it needed tyres...maybe ..maybe not ....but he needs to consult the customer first to do this and not just go ahead...I wanted my other tyres back on ..and they of course were gone....STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND HIS STAFF keep u informed with whats happening with the police...stay tuned
