No responsibility taken for cement colour and stones in aggregate looking nothing like the sample photo. They just tell you to read their fine print and they don't guarantee it will look the same. Don't bother with this company if you want a particular aggregate fun their 30 sample pictures. At least the concrete was quality and the private small company who laid it did a great job.

On 26th April 2022, a Hanson cement truck knocked over our letterbox backing into our driveway and denied that he did it. Furthermore they were extremely rude and refused to pay for any damages caused. We do not recommend this company.

This was a big job and I had purchased an expensive aggregate concrete mix. At the end of the day the concrete had issues regarding the way it cured as there was shrinkage cracks by 5:30am the next morning which is not normal.

There was also issues with exposure as the concrete obviously went off way to fast and was not workable. Hanson has supplied a under standard product.

My concreter and I tried calling Hanson and given the run around. They did not want to deal with us and kept distancing themselves. They were hoping if they ignored us we would was just ignore the will go away!

Front driveway was already sand blasted and resealed at my concreters expense. The sandblaster who had 30 years experience could not believe how set the concrete was for only a few days old!

It took many phone calls for someone to finally come and look at concrete and see all the shrinkage cracks and how exposed concrete is not even all over (that is rocks underneath the concrete not exposed)

We asked them to do the right thing and and compensate to fix side and back yard area that needs to be sandblasted too, but they are avoiding us. Get another independent person to review. Not acceptable! How many people do you want to review this! The photos show there were issues. Trying to blame the concreter from day 1 is unacceptable especially when you have not even done an inspection. As a client I am not happy and I chose the Hanson mix, I thought they were professional my mistake I should have chosen another mix. They have not shown any interest in resolving the issue either. Keep away from Hanson Concrete.
