So very, very disappointed. Can NOT recommend. There were issues with the product (we understand issues can occur), but worse was their lack customer service following on, which was appalling and unacceptable.



We purchased the Draught Dodgers Sliding door seal kit in good faith, wanting to support what was advertised as an Australian family company. They appeared to have good reviews, so much so that ALL??? their reviews were glowing???



The product was very expensive, but we believed we were purchasing something special. Unfortunately, the company appears to be badly run and our entire experience has been awful, (except for one operator Michael, who at least listened to our issues). For this premium price, all we received were 3 generic stick on seals and two ODD colored stick on side strips, and no paper instructions. Upon further inspection we discovered that:



1) One of the side strips is white, yet the other side is black, so they look extremely odd and ugly as they don't match. Their website is deceiving as there is NO mention that the two sides will be different colors (the color options were a choice of either white OR black, not a mixture of both) and their video shows them installing a product that matches in colour on all sides. Their only explanation was that 'they only come in odd colors and there was nothing they could do about it'.



2) Before the package was even opened, it was obvious that one of the seals was badly packaged & twisted and dirty (contaminated with workshop floor metal filings and dirt on the sticky parts). This resulted in the backing paper coming off and the sticky side being so damaged that the ability to stick was compromised and it could not be used.



3) They do not bother to supply 'paper' install instructions with the product. The instal videos online are unfortunately inadequate and confusing, even for our carpenter.



4) Despite all of these issues, (again thinking 'Australian family company' - try to support) we tried to work with the company to suggest future improvements to help avoid the issues we had encountered, for the benefit of their business and future customers.



5) However, the the last straw was the the disinterested, aggressive, rude, arrogant attitude and lack of 'customer service' we received, even from the 'family' we were trying to support. This company 'appears' amazing on their website, but please be warned. Not all 'Australian family' company's operate well. Could NOT recommend them to anyone. It's not worth it. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.



5) We find it interesting, that despite our clear negative experience with both their product and lack of 'customer service', their online reviews appear skewed and ALL positive. ???????
