After being a Haymes trade painter for years. I thought i would expand my buisness into solve/wattle paint and give their product a shot. Upon entering the store as the doors were being opened for commencement of trading. (5 minutes late)**
I was then informed that 4 liters of tardeline ceiling flat would be costing me upwards of $50-$60!! when both Haymes and Dulux offer their premium alternative to trade ceiling flat for a fraction of that cost. With their trade line coming in at almost half the price of crowies/solver.
considering i spent a considerable time establishing my account on a previous visit. I find it un ethical that they can set a price so outlandish.
Then i was informed buy the gentleman that some painters in adelaide pay only $33!!
I was always under the impression that leaking the pricing structures of peoples accounts is strictly against policy. I'm sure the hot property group wouldn't be impressed.
I then proceeded to leave and take my buisness where i am comfortable.
Anybody who is wanting a trade centre where you details and price structures are NOT!! open for public discussion i suggest you look towards other options.
After my last two visits into the store i wouldn't be in a mad rush to return any time soon.
Disgusting attitude / customer service skills.
