Stephen John

Dr Stephen is someone who I think about from time to time, he performed a magnificent operation on me in Jan 02 , I can still remember even to this day the pain from the surgery as I'm not a emotional person but it does give me tears thinking about those 4 days at the Mater Hospital. The word legacy is thrown around with sports people who have zero. For someone who I only meet for a very short time in my life he is someone I will think about for many years such as his bow tie to work, his little tape recorder, his eccentricity, his passion of his work without sharing a medical bill he really knew i was struggling with finances and It is something i will never forget about the generosity of the invoice, my games of golf with him at his golf club.

Thank you Dr Stephen. 25 years ago you helped me with my scoliosis surgery. My rods are still going strong and I have had the opportunity to live a normal life, get married, and have kids. I am very grateful for your skill and care when I was a teenager.

Dr Stephen put me back together 26 years ago after a terrible riding accident. I am forever grateful and living a wonderful life that was touch and go for a while. He is my hero.

Well Dr Stephens performed surgery on me when I was 2 and about 20 and my back has been beautiful and pain free with Harrington rods ever since. He is a wonderful man and I owe him my self confidence and happiness everyday. Thanks John I am still going strong. Maree.
