Yeah very bad mechanic and without any shame on his face. Really don't understand how he can sleep at night. Car fixed 46 days after and cos he had to take it to another mechanic. And the problem was what I told him at the beginning. Wiring that goes to the fuel pump. Even charged me $99 to clean my headlights which didn't need. He gave me a bill $2600 and should have been $320 with the towing car. Really lucky the law is stupid and is always on the wrong side. Could have taken him to court but lose days of work, lawyers and money spent why. This mechanic really sucks do not recommend him to anyone

My car has been at this mechanic for 4 weeks now.?
I went already twice to pick up my car but it broke down twice. The mechanic is replacing parts which he shouldn't. I ask him to replace a cps on the car that i would pay even if it wasn't that the problem as I was already waiting for 2 weeks and nothing. He said was the fuel pump so he replaced it but it wasnt.Now he had someone to have a computer check and he said that this time he has found the problem. A plug from the transmission wich cost $30. He had put the plug but forgot to order the transmission oil so still waiting. I am expecting a huje bill and the problem was the $30 plug. Should I pay him everything??? I think I should pay only for the plug, cps,oil, towing truck and his time (for the right parts) but should I pay for all the other stuff? The fuel pump is around $1300. I asked him to put the old one in and he refused. I asked him to give me my car and I would pay for his bill and get a decent mechanic but he refuses.i called a few solicitors but not one wants to give me free advice. Most of the time he isn't at his garage as he is selling stuff with his daughter, while you are waiting to get your car back.
