Look Elsewhere!

We use a term in the USA called mansplaining. It's the explanation of something by a man, typically to a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing. While Computer Fixperts maybe COVID safe, they have pandemic levels of mansplaining running amuck amongst their staff. While I might not have your anatomical balls, it doesn't mean I don't have a brain.

Asking questions simply is me, the customer, having a conversation with you, the business, to ensure that I feel comfortable enough with your services to hire you in and fully understand the options you are providing me. I am not questioning your knowledge. I am not questioning your masculinity. I am simply trying to make sure I understand the process you are using so I can make the best possible decision for my circumstances.

You are not Drive Savers in Silicon Valley working inside a million dollar clean room doing data recovery for Google, Apple, Hollywood and the likes. You're in a co-working space in Brisbane working out a of a shared office. That in no way is a reflection of your work. Your work could be absolutely spectacular but I will never know. The attitude and condescension pretty much made sure of that. Maybe take a lesson in etiquette and decorum from Driver Savers customer service staff on how to speak with your customers. They are the big dogs but they make everyone feel welcome no matter if you are Google, Apple or a regular business owner.

I walked out the door and down the street to Jacob, who took me in his co-working office, showed me his set up and had a friendly chat with me about what he thought the process would be and what I could expect. AND, he gave me an time ESTIMATE so I know what work projects to put on hold and for how long. That was the reason for the ESTIMATED time. I need to know how to plan my work week. I run a 7-figure operation and so it's important that I have this information and can adjust accordingly.

Poor customer service and not able to complete simple task

Extremely rude over the phone.

Technician did not review the requirement for the work. Said that they had made assumptions that the work would be the same as previous, without clarifying what was required.

Work was not completed.
