Ikea is a haven of everything you need for your home and a very reasonable price whilst still maintain some style. The kids toys & accessories are vibrant and aid in unleashing the imagination like the bed tent. They also have great storage ideas that are practical for any location in the house. The restaurant area is a bit average & lacks the energy that is present in the rest of the store.

Ikea Richmond is large and has everything you can need. Its situated within Victoria Gardens shopping centre so this makes it great to browse other stores too.
Tip: The car park can get very busy on weekends. Ive often found that if you just go straight up to the roof carpark you can get a park easily up there and then you can use the back entrance (where the loading bays for pick up are).

The place to buy cheap, mostly flat-pack, furniture that has a bit of a funky look but, as you'd expect for the price, not exactly built to last a lifetime. It's a huge place and I confess to have been there just to have a look at the room displays for ideas- like hundreds of others judging by the weekend crowds. It's arguably Richmond's biggest tourist attraction! Its got everything for the home from sofas, to complete kitchens and novelty ice-cube trays. Theres a cafe on-site, too not highly rated plus a Scandinavian food section for some interesting foodie goodies.
