I bought a laptop from them, and it proved to be faulty. And then the trouble began... I was told it would take weeks to arrange a pickup from my home, and then even more weeks for it to be checked for faults. No, I cannot return it to them, to speed the process. they said, despite consumer law stating faulty good need to be returned tot he point of sale. Meanwhile and within 2 days of my calling them, the laptop manufacturer authorised a credit to NanoByte and asked for it to be replaced. No chance. Nanobyte refused! I logged a dispute with PayPal and was begged to close the dispute and they would return my money. So I did, and a week later, still no money, just a harassing number of phone calls telling me they are "customer focused" and my money is safe with them. I need it to be safe with me.

My biggest mistake was accepting them at their word, because they clearly misled me. And on a number of occasions. I have no trust in anything they say.

Really, if you want to take a chance, by all means do, but if my experience is typical, if anything goes wrong it will take weeks to resolve. I have raised a complaint with Victoria's consumer Affairs.
