A handy pubto get a meal and bevvy before a game or concert down the road at the MCG orRod Laver - but handy is about all it's got going for it. Tip is to figure out what you want and get to the bar and order quickly as it gets predictably packed. Also, I'd have to say the meals are below bistro par - over cooked, tasteless and sloppily slapped together was my last experience of eating here. If you're thinking of a night out here, it's a young crowd who seem willing to wait in long lines for ever even to get in.

A good place to come and have few before heading down to the sports precinct.

Fat Yak on tap is my choice. Get there early and bulk order because the crowd gets thick just before start time. The beer does not get to warm and there are live games to watch ad you chat with your mates.
