Varsity Towers

This place smells like a moldy truck stop. The place is overpriced and stinks. They are charging for hot and cold water and power. They shut off the water on the tenants all the time. You have to save water by not flushing, Some are even not flushing for weeks due to water rates. You get cold showers because hot water is charged $5 dollars a day. It's expensive to live here and they are lying about their rent rates. The car park floods. The place is a dumpster fire. Torture chamber.

Do not stay here if you're a student ! This place is a dump. You will be waiting hours everyday for a car park. You will get thousands of damage to your hair. You have to pay for parking where you live. The place is a dump.

If you are a student at Bond University looking for a place to live, DO NOT choose Varsity towers. This place is disgusting. My hallway constantly smells like smoke, garbage, and god knows what else. My neighbor is a creepy middle aged man who would constantly knock on my door to chat and asked me out for drinks. Ugh. You have to pay for internet, and you only get internet through an ethernet cord. I had to buy my own router to get wifi. You also have to pay for electricity, and this is a problem if you like to sleep with the air conditioning on because the air conditioner drains your electricity. They advertise the rooms as having a full kitchen, and that is BS. By full kitchen they mean a mini fridge (mine doesn't even have a freezer). there is no oven, and the stove is a weird tiny burner on the kitchen counter that is not easy to use. You have to pay for anything that malfunctions in your room such as the smoke detector or lightbulbs. You also have to pay $3 per load if you want to wash/dry your clothes, and the washer and dryers are crap. If you are a student at Bond, please consider living in the accommodation center. My friends live there and they get free laundry, free wifi, free electricity, and even a maid service. Varsity towers is a dirty waste of money.
