Absolute waste of time and may aswell drive the extra 4 hours if you want anything done- handful amounts of time said they would have a job done at a certain time- about a week later and still not complete.
The communication from this mob is pathetic.
Absolute waste of time

Initially I had a great experience when looking to buy a new ute. Then once the papers were signed I was awakened to the absolute lack of care that must have gripped every single person in the building. My Dmax is a great ute and I would buy another one anytime, just not from this business. I use my Dmax for my business as a mobile mechanical repair business.
The ute has had a few issues along the way and sadly I have been left to foot the bill on things that should have been warranty, such as the engine. ( short version, engine drops 3 valves engine goes bang, all 3 dropped valves missing adjustment lock nuts, then without asking/telling the head was removed for "inspection" told no warranty at 28000 km waited 2 months for this and then handed a $900 bill which had to be paid before vehicle could leave. Nice hey?) Was called about a satisfaction survey from their customer relations person after this. I told the nice lady about my experience and gave a score of 0.5 to which she responded how she was going to get me some answers. So as per her request I sent an email detailing the issues I experienced, and she assured me that she would not rest until I had some answers as this was going to get the owner involved! I thought wow there could be a glimmer of hope that the company might stand behind the product even if the manufacturer won't. Email sent about my experience, confirmed it was received. Over a year and a half later and still no word from anyone.
Booked in 3 weeks in advance for a/c evaporator which had cracked and no longer working. Told no problems will take 1 day so I arranged my business to be down for that day ( and another just for safety) then find it had been farmed out to another business in town to be "assesed" and that was the whole day 1 gone. Then told I was right and the earliest it could be done was a week and a half later! So booking in means nothing to anyone as it seems nobody here has been taught that the most expensive part of a breakdown on a commercially used vehicle is the down time!
If I ran my business in this fashion, well I reckon I wouldn't be in business very long. Everyone I have talked to around town that has had any dealings with this business have all had issues of some sort with this business.
To sum up, doing business here will not just cost you money. It will cost time, test patience and generally ruin your mood for at least the day. They do sell some great products, but then again so do plenty of other businesses down the coast. With the amount of time they have wasted for just me I easily could have dealt with a dealership in Brisbane and had a few less experiences that left me grumpy.
