Heidelberg Dry Cleaners

Recently, I had my curtains dry cleaned at Heidelberg Dry Cleaners, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. After damaging my curtains, Heidelberg Dry Cleaners refused to accept liability and accused me of trying to defraud them. Especially after being assured of their professional and qualified services before the payment was made.



In addition, the owner of the business has shown a complete disregard for the law and for taxpayers, by openly stating that people like me who call the police are just wasting taxpayer money. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and shows a complete lack of accountability on their part.

I sent my curtain to the above Heidelberg Dry Cleaners in Rosanna to be dry cleaned on 30.01.23 and paid in advance the fee of $150.00. It is a good quality custom-made curtain. However, my curtain had been damaged by Heidelberg Dry Cleaners on 04.02.23. Heidelberg Dry Cleaners refused to accept liability and went on to state that my curtain was of poor quality and I was trying to defraud them. In the ensuing altercation and threat against me, I phoned the Police Office for protection. In the end, Heidelberg Dry Cleaners did admit with great reluctance that they could have burnt the curtain in the process. I then told them that I’ll get a quote from “Curtain Repair” for professional restoration and they must agree to pay the bill. The response from Heidelberg Dry Cleaners was that I needed to sue them in court for that.



In the end, I paid $470 for restoration and $150 for their unqualified service. I total lost $620 for it and my curtain was $1,037.14.
