I am deeply disappointed with Tiger Dry Cleaners in Balmain. I arrived at 7:05 AM, expecting them to be open as advertised both online and on their shop window. After waiting for over 30 minutes, the owner finally arrived and informed me that they don't open until 7:30 AM. It’s low of them that they haven’t even bothered to update their opening hours online or on their shopfront.

To make matters worse, my son's school uniforms, which were supposed to be altered and ready by last Thursday (today is Monday), were still not done. This delay not only wasted my time but also disrupted my morning routine and kept me from attending to my kids and other important tasks. This level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in an area like Balmain where one expects higher standards of service.

I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their service for future customers. In the meantime, I’m now in search of a reliable dry cleaner nearby. Can anyone recommend a good service?

Unfortunately our last experience with this dry cleaner has meant that we will not be returning. We dropped off a pair of pants (that they had dry cleaned a number of times before) to be dry cleaned, when we picked them up the zip was broken but they had not told us. We went back and advised of the issue and they did not acknowledge responsibility. They made various different claims to blame us or the brand of the pants or whoever they could and there was no remorse whatsoever. We appreciate that accidents happen, nobody is perfect but the way the business has handled this issue is not right and now as a customer we are at a loss.

Do not use tiger dry cleaners. I submitted a dress for cleaning at the end of the season. I checked the dress before I gave it to Tiger dry cleaners and there were no marks on it. When i went to retrieve the dress it was covered in splash marks which he said he couldn't remove. When I pointed out that the marks had not been there when I gave the dress to Tiger Dry Cleaners, he became rude and abusive. I had to pay him to release my damaged dress and then pay a competent dry cleaner to repair the damage! Do not use Tiger Dry Cleaners, they are rude and incompetent

Do not go to this dry cleaners. They ruined 3 of my garments over 2 differnt times.

The first time they burned a hole in the silk zipper of an alex perry dress, which they then claimed was already there.

Stupidly, on my part, due to convenience of the location i tried them again recently. My blazer jacket came back without any of its buttons & my other blazer was pressed incorrectly & is now out of shape. Again, the dry cleaner has refused to take any responsibility or refund any money.
