underwent bilateral lower eyelid blepharoplasties , orbital fat transfer , and a mid-face lift, performed by Dr. Pincus on January 13, 2014 , and I am completely satisfied both with the surgical result and with the entire experience. Dr. Pincus spent a huge amount of time discussing the proposed surgery , the alternatives, possible complications , and what would be reasonable expectations. I felt he was thorough and entirely forthright and honest. He never pushed me to have the procedure and , in fact, he was always very careful to be neutral, giving me all the information and allowing me to make the decision comfortably. He concluded by telling me that he wanted me to be completely clear in my mind that I wanted the surgery before he would proceed. I feel Dr. Pincus has the ideal personality for cosmetic surgery: he's self assured and extraordinarily detail oriented. His manner is kind and gentlemanly, and will certainly put the most nervous patient at ease. He impressed me with his long, extensive experience, and voluminous knowledge of facial plastic surgery. As a physician myself, I feel qualified to make such a judgement . The surgical facility on Rodeo Drive was clean and modern , luxurious even , and the surgical nurse experienced and pleasant . The anesthesiologist , Dr. Alexander Rothis, was professional, confident, and had a very pleasant manner. My surgery went as planned without complications, and the post operative course has been uneventful and exactly as Dr. Pincus had described. The doctor has subsequently seen me for post operative examinations and has always been available to answer my questions on the telephone. While I still have some swelling, which is normal at such an early stage post operatively, it is clear to me that the procedure has accomplished everything envisioned . My friends and colleagues, many physicians themselves, have remarked on what an excellent and the concensus of opinion being that I look over ten years younger.
