I own a Japanese Honda Civic Type R and needed to have a new clutch fitted. Being a performance import I needed to make sure it was done by someone competent and so after doing some research, I decided to give Joshua at Proconcept a call after hearing he specialised in Honda and Nissan cars. He was up front and advised me to purchase a new flywheel to go with the clutch as the original flywheels are lightened and don't take well to resurfacing. Pointing out this potential pitfall meant it would save me the extra labour costs had the original flywheel warped from being to thin after resurfacing. He quoted me a very reasonable price to install and was happy for me to supply my own parts. Just got my car back in good time and I'm over the moon with the quality of service. He made a point of keeping the old clutch to show me the condition of it and so I feel satisfied that the clutch was ready to be changed over. He worked hard to remove some very stubborn nuts without having to resort to grinding them off and charging more for new parts. His workshop is immaculately clean and is he is very friendly and his work is professional. I find it hard to put my trust in mechanics as ive dealt with many in the past that want to overcharge for sloppy workmanship but from the start, I felt like my car was in good hands with Joshua.
