Bilateral knee replacement in August 24. 2 weeks in rehab

Surgery was good no complications little bleeding or pain.

Explanation was exactly what happened. The care was organised and planned. Good communication and visits post op. Referrals to rehab were smooth. Two weeks rehab as suggested was the best to speed up movement and strength. Followed the instructions and it was as expected and explained to me.

This Dr is paid by workcover to refuse claims. On 2 occasions he spent 5 minutes with my husband for his work related injury. Then his reports were incorrect and suggested an injury that was nit related to his situation. It was obvious he did not read any of my husbands reports from other specialists. This Dr for hire is not a person I would suggest anyone to to see. The lives he has destroyed are numerous if you can find the reviews. VA is also one of his clients.

I was recommended to Dr P Johnstone in 2012 by a neighbour and also a colleague in the Volunteer Marine Rescue who both had had joint surgery and were very happy with the results.

I have since had a Total Hip Replacement (Right) 2012, Shoulder repair (Left) 2014, and recently Total Hip Replacement (Left) all carried out by Dr Johnstone. I have in all cases been extremely happy with the results and been able to get back to my interests of Renovating, Hiking, Birdwatching, Boating, Surf Fishing etc in a very short period of time. Since 2012 other friends have had Joint Surgery with Dr Johnstone and were very happy with the outcome. His nurse Sue and other office staff can't do enough for you and are always keen to answer questions and provide helpful advise during recovery. I readily recommend Dr Johnstone and his practice to anyone I meet that needs Joint Surgery.
