I went in on 26th October morning for medical pedicure. The podiatrist cut my foot with a scalpel which resulted in deep wound. She put dressing on it because it was bleeding, then she told me to go to pharmacy and get betadine. They still asked me to pay full price of $99.
When I got home the blood has soak thru the dressing. When I called them, instead of offering for me to come right away, they only had time to see meat 4PM. I decided to go to my local GP. I didn't want to wait longer since I had to fly overseas that same night (podiatrist was aware of this). My GP decided to froze the wound with liquid nitrogen since it was bleeding quite badly.
I then went back to Podiatry HQ to ask for refund. Receptionist said she's new and they couldn't issue a refund in person, I had to write an email??! I left for Japan that night for my honeymoon. The wound has altered my trip immensely. I sent the numerous email throughout and didn't received any response. A month later the receptionist replied saying she was on leave the whole time. It's December now and I have not received any compensation or apologies from them.
