Terrible experience with this business, thought that supporting a local business would be a great choice, being a local business owner. WRONG. We went from having one problem fixed, to then being informed more hydraulic work was required, there had been the additional problem previously. This is however not the complaint. I left them my electric forklift, like any business they have a duty of care to take care of their customers property. Instead we have found out that from day one the electric forklift was left outside in the elements, it was completely drenched and had been on many occasions. When I went to the business the day before collecting, I thought it looked like it had been left in the wet. It had been raining so I thought perhaps it was just recent, I asked one of the staff, he indicated that he had asked them to put the forklift away, although indicated that had fallen on deaf ears. I said it is an electric forklift and cannot be left outside. I returned the next day to find it had been left out again, all night, in one of the worst rain events for the last few weeks, although there were many. So they obviously just did not care. The forklift had become water damaged, there error messages, the hydraulics were locked out, I could only drive at a snails pace. They sent me an email message stating that I should return it if we experienced problems, when we attempted to return the forklift. No reply to the repeated emails requesting assistance and an amicable resolution. Of course it was just hollow and empty attempts to placate us, there was no intention to do the right thing. This is an honest and genuine review. There is another hydraulic business not too far away. Draw your own conclusions. Just trying to help others not make the same costly mistake.
