I called to make a haircut appointment and I have been told I have to wait atleast 2 months to get the next haircut. I know people are able to get their haircut as soon as they walk in..
I asked if it's ok to make the appointment and cancel it as soon as I would be able to find another barber sooner. She said it's ok, and asked if I was double vaccinated. I said I was not double vaccinated and she said it's a government requirement to be double vaccinated. So I looked up the requirements for double vaccination for hairdressing bussiness on the Qld website and it clearly stated in bold customers do not require vaccination. I called Sue Ellen up again and told her that the Government does not require hairdressing parlour customers to be vaccinated. She replied she wont give a haircut for people who are not fully vaccinated.
It's not like she would have to be worried about getting sick from Covid if she has been vaccinated. There is absolutely no reason for her to impose this upon thd customers if even the government does not have a problem with unvaccinated customers.
