North Shore Veterinary Hospital

After reading the last 2 reviews on here I would just like to make a comment before I start... I had an amazing experience at this vet last week though I don't recommend using their emergency service if possible, I was also presented with a phone operator who sounded like a 13 year old girl that didnt really want to be there, or even know anything.
BUT
the vet I saw during the day (the specialist Dr David Vella) for my rat who had broken her leg, was AMAZING. I have still been communicating with him via email when I have a question and he answers every email is a genuine, compassionate and experienced vet and person in general.
After ringing around to at least 6 vets on the central coast (my local area) he is the only person I felt comfortable working on my rat due to the situation being such a risky case (anaesthetic in small animals is a big risk!)
Even when I notified this Dr that my rat had destroyed her cast he had only put on 3 days before, he said I could bring her in without an appointment.
The whole experience cost hundreds of dollars less than what I was quoted at other, less experienced vets as well. e.g. Ourimbah vet quoted me $860 and that my rats leg would need amputation. SO WRONG.
I highly recommend this vet for all of their day staff and the whole facility in general, from my experience even just in the waiting area, the level of care that was shown to customers and their pets was perfect.
