Dealing with Simon from Astute Plumbing has been an absolute nightmare. His workmanship was careless and sloppy from the start, and when serious problems arose, directly caused by his own poor work, he refused to fix them. Instead of taking responsibility, Simon became dismissive, argumentative, and completely unprofessional.

To make matters worse, Simon massively overcharges. His pricing is outrageous, yet the quality of his work is among the worst I’ve ever experienced. Paying top dollar only to be left with ongoing problems is insulting and disgraceful.

Simon’s so-called “customer service” is horrific. once he’s been paid, you’re on your own. No accountability, no integrity, and no interest in looking after his clients.

It wasn’t until I looked up the definition of Astute that I finally understood why Simon chose the name:

Astute (adjective): Having or showing an ability to accurately assess situations or people and turn this to one’s advantage.

After learning that, it all made sense. Simon isn’t astute in his plumbing, he’s astute in overcharging, dodging responsibility, and turning every situation to his advantage at the expense of his customers.

Astute Plumbing under Simon’s direction is, without question, the worst plumbing company in Melbourne. Consider this a warning, avoid him at all costs.
