Rolscar Smash Repairs is a family business operated by business directors Paul and Thomas Taaffe, both qualified tradesmen. Paul is a Panel Beater by trade and Thomas a Spray Painter by trade. Paul and Thomas took over Rolscar Smash Repairs in 1992 starting out doing concourse show cars for many years and have worked on numerous show winners over that time. These days we specialise in smash repairs. We take a lot of pride in our business and we strive to be recognised as a stand out smash repairer for quality repairs. We’re not the cheapest and never will be, quality repairs cost money.

No, but generally we can discount private quotes in comparison to insurance quotes.
Do we have courtesy vehicles?
No. (Please note: Most insurance companies will supply hire vehicles if you pay extra on your insurance policy premium).
Do I have a choice about where my car is repaired?
Not all insurance companies will allow you to have your car repaired where you choose. Our advice is to make sure when buying insurance, you select one that allows you the freedom of choice of repairer.
How long is my quote valid for?
Up to 6 months (conditions apply).
Who do I pay my excess to?
Usually, you pay the excess directly to the repairer.
How can I pay my excess?
We accept cheques, cash and credit cards (not Amex).
Are the repairs on the vehicle guaranteed?
Yes, however some conditions apply.
Can I inspect my vehicle during repairs?
Yes, we are more than happy for customers to inspect their vehicle during the course of repairs.
Will the colour of my vehicle be the same after the repairs?
Yes, we have very skilled technicians, and the latest colour matching technology.
Will genuine parts be used on my vehicle?
Yes.

I cannot rate "Rolscar Smash Repairs" highly enough. My job was relatively minor as I scraped the front, left-hand side of my car on my garage pillar. They repaired my car beautifully and were such a pleasure to deal with. I picked up the car and the inside was incredibly clean. The outside of the car had been washed and the paintwork was shiny - the car hadn't been in such an impeccable condition since the day I bought it, three years ago! Very well done to Rolscar!!

I am really impressed with the work done by the team at Rolscar. Even though it was a relatively minor job, the service was excellent and they really instilled me with confidence right from the word go. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My car is now as good as new and the bill was surprisingly OK. Will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

Brought our car { insurance recommended repairer} to them in April 2015 after the hail storm that hit Brisbane November 2014. They had the car for 3 to 4 weeks. we got the car back it still had hail damage,told the foremen he said he would ring the insurance company and get back to us....NEVER DID... the bonnet was not sprayed properly.... what they said they would do was not done. Rang several times to talk to the foreman, he said he would look into it and ring me back.....NEVER DID ......Had the insurance assessor look at the car today 2/12/2015 and he agrees they have done a VERY DODGY JOB ON THE CAR.. Guess what the car now has to go back to the repairers but this time it will be going to a repairer of my choice...People beware...Would not recommend ROLSCAR SMASH REPAIRS to anyone...
