The shims fitted at the 11th hour into my Salomon Boots (to remedy a poorly fitted boot problem created by another popular ski centre in Melbourne... who will remain anonymous)... were brilliant!

You were right on the money. They were super tight to start with and finally bedded in to reduce the heel lift and enabled me to ski through deep'ish powder, crud and the moguls feeling completely sure-footed. A great job which seemed so small, so affordable and yet had a profound impact on my skiing experience recently in Big White.

Thanks for being so accommodating, even when fixing one of your competitor's mistakes with a poorly fitted boot. Brilliant!

Balwyn Ski and Board is a really small, old, crammed in ski and board shop. But don't let it's looks fool you - despite what you might first think, this may become your favourite local snow store.
Surprisingly they stock a good range if all the food brand for such a small place. There plenty of clothing and apparel, as well as ski and board equipment. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and from my experience prices are very competitive.
