BC Sands

Didn't turn up when I paid for a specific time delivery. Didn't even have the courtesy to call me, rather they sent an email. Then weren't even decent enough to refund my money on a reasonable time. Had to wait weeks and lodge a dispute with PayPal to get my money back.



Ordered from somewhere else and it was less than half the price, so not only does BC Sands have terrible service, they are an absolute ripoff in pricing too.

I had an order in with a delivery time set for a certain day from 7 till 12.



I organised my whole day around this rather generous time window.



At 5 min to 7am I got an SMS saying that they were running late at delivery would now be 130pm.



I doubt they were running late before their first delivery. They told me that the truck had to come to the Northern Beaches all the way from Taren Point.



At 145 pm I called and cancelled the order. The receptionist said the truck was being loaded at Brookvale and would be another hour or so.



I cancelled the order and will never use them again.

Very polite response when ordered over the phone (Dion) however when I I picked up the order(sir Walter buffalo turf) not only the manners changed for the worse but the product was so bad that half had to be discarded.The grass was dry and there was no soil left on the rolls. No more Bc sand orders for me.

Ruined our property during delivery after having a pre-delivery consultation to ensure everything went smoothly. Unfortunately I was abused by the delivery driver who returned to inspect the damage saying it was our fault he ruined the wall of our house...not sure how! Took us weeks to even get them to return to look at the damage after countless unreturned emails and calls. Their tactic is abuse and intimidation instead of apology and compensation so recommend using Menai sand and soil instead.

POOR SERVICE, very DISORGANISED, LATE DELIVERY. UNRELIABLE dont bother! They only are interested in big projects... I made an online booking for a delivery AND paid the extra charge to get delivered during a specified time period (9-11), then 2 1/2 hours later (11:30) I rang them they said it's coming at 1:30pm. They didn't even bother to ring to let me know it was coming LATE and to apologize. I then rescheduled to make the delivery the following Monday (it was Friday) at 9am. I asked for confirmation and was given confirmation by email that it will come at 9am. AGAIN LATE! Monday 10am no delivery so I rang them, again! they didn't call me to let me know it was coming later and apologize. They said it's on it's a few minutes away... 3 minutes later I then received a text message from them and it said due at 10:45am - another 45 minutes! not a few minutes away. The driver confirmed that they leave smaller customers waiting... one builder had 4 brickies on site and had to wait 4 hours... Use this rubbish business at your own risk. As for BC Sands I told you I would write a review now deal with it!
