What a disgusting dump! Bathroom is straight out of the 50's with tiles that look like they haven't been cleaned since the 80's. I wouldn't shower here even if I hadn't had a shower for 3 days. Air conditioner didn't work, blowing out warm air on a 40+ degree day. Carpet was so worn it was almost threadbare in places and so ingrained with dirt that it was hard. No amount of vacuuming or shampooing would make a difference to this carpet. A previous poster said they wouldn't allow their dog to sleep on the carpet, well I wouldn't allow my dog to enter this hovel for fear of what it might pick up. It needs to be removed at once. The owner/manager was so rude and arrogant when notified of the air conditioner problem. She argued with me in such a savage manner, with a very strong accent and talking so fast it was difficult to understand what she was saying. I was so intimidated and disturbed by her reaction that I immediately told my family to get back in the car and we drove off. I was that distressed by the whole experience that I happily forfeited $200 for our first night's stay. Honestly, I wouldn't have slept here if it was free! Some people have described some rooms as being "renovated" but I can absolutely guarantee rooms 4 and 5 are not!



Do yourself a huge favour and save yourself a lot of stress by going to the motel opposite the RSL club. They were cheaper ($150 for a very large properly renovated large family room, super friendly hosts and even give you drink vouchers for the RSL.



I'm disappointed in myself for not thinking to take some photos. If possible I wouldn't have given this dive any stars at all.
