Happy Kitchen Chinese Restaurant

These guys have big shoes to fill having taken over from Flying Dragon. The food is good classic chinese but they go the extra mile. When we asked for fortune cookies they notified us that they didn't have any. But upon picking up our order the chef had hand-made us little cookies!
So nice!

The food was fresh and lovely..Home delivery was quick and food was hot..Will definitely order from these guys again!

We have been going to this restaurant since it was the wonderful flying dragon restaurant. Thought we would support the changeover. We have for some time. Tonight was enough. The owner has absolutely no idea about running a restaurant. Food is garbage, owner is braiding her daughters hair at the register. Other daughter is always occupying a table doing her homework. We have to ask for water, soy soy, wine glass. This was our last visit, as it will be our friends family etc. word of mouth is powerful in templestowe.

This is place is a funny one. We had read many good reviews about this place. The hostess is the friendliest and most chirpy person we have ever seen. She was entertaining the whole night through. If it wasnt for the hostess, this place would probably not be doing as well as it does. Its clear this is very much a local restaurant, with the place packed full of people who all seemed to be regulars.

As far as the dishes go, theyre actually not terribly good by authentic Chinese food standards. However the customer service here makes all the difference.We probably wont come back here, but were glad we gave it a try and suggest you do to if you want a little bit of fun and entertainment while having a Chinese meal.
