Terrigal Sails Serviced Apartments

The staff were super helpful and welcoming. Stayed for a week and didn't want to leave! So quiet and close to the beach. You will not be disappointed at this hotel. Loved having the kitchen in my room. We will be going back.

Nightmare at Terrigal Sails Apartments
My partner and I were looking forward to four lovely and relaxing days in Terrigal however we got anything but that! The curtains smelled like smoke and one was completely covered with mould on both sides which is a massive health issue especially for an asthmatic like me. The blankets in the bed also smelled like smoke so much that my eyes were watering all night and bright red in the morning though it claims to be a "non- smoking" property. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. TWO SINGLE BEDS STUCK TOGETHER IS NOT A KING BED!!! I spent half the night crying as I was having severe back and neck pain. I could not sleep and neither could my partner. The balcony was unsafe with a huge gap you could nearly fall through and they are facing the car park YUCK! There are many other cleaning issues. The whole place needed a good scrub. The cutlery was dirty and disgusting. We packed up quickly intending to leave and go somewhere else and when we arrived at the reception at 8:30am but no one was there even though the sign clearly says it is open at 8am. I don't care how nice staff are or how close it is to shops if it is unsafe and needs a good clean shouldn't we get our money back?? NO WE ONLY GOT HALF OF THE MONEY BACK DUE TO THEIR 48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY AND PAYMENT UPFRONT. SO WE LOST $150 BECAUSE WE WOULDN'T STAY THERE ANOTHER NIGHT. I WOULDN'T SEND MY WORST ENEMY THERE!
