Had an emergency leak in my house and the team at Express Plumbing Melbourne came out within the hour and repaired it. Highly recommended.

Had a leaking water tank (located on my roof) that was a 15 minute fix to tighten the valve. Was told the cost would be $720 which I almost fainted when I heard the price. I called the owner, Gino, to explain the billing which he said was $240 call out (their website doesnt explicitly quote this) and hourly rate of $240 which is double on weekends at a minimum charge of 1 hour (no mention of pricing or minimum 1 hour rate on their website). Should have checked pricing in advance but expected they would operate in good faith which i was sadly proven wrong

COMPLETE AND UTTER RIP OFF. TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. ok so it’s a public holiday and you’re expecting some increase in price but $450 call out fee PLUS $280 public holiday surcharge AND did no repairs! Just wrote up a report to say the toilet is broken and needs parts which he doesn’t have in the van. REALLY!!!! A 24/7 emergency plumber that doesn’t have necessary parts available !!!!! Took total advantage of young person. This is the kind of thing that is usually on A Current Affair. So, fair warning, DO NOT under any circumstances use this company. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF How they’re even in business is beyond belief. If there was a negative ZERO rating I would consider that I was being generous.

They charge 1200 to change a tap washer.



Please be careful when using their service

Called at 4pm to repair a leaking cold water tap in the shower. Whilst the two servicemen that attended arrived within the hour and fixed the problem (no issue with them) , the charge was $580 for a new washer + labour ! My husband objected to such a high price for the work performed and asked to speak to their manager . The manager was rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever, he begrudgingly reduced the cost after a heated phone call. He called back later to apologise, unfortunately the experience is not easily forgotten and we won't be using their services again.

Total rip off. $1200 for a piece of concrete that didn't need to be fixed in the first place. Nothing wrong with the pipe, it's just the concrete holding the pipe had a crack. Instead of fixing the crack, or just say it doesn't need to be fixed because the pipe is still securely in place, they lied to my partner and said if it doesn't get fixed, the water will damage the foundation. No it will not. It's just oridinary earth underneath, like the parts around it that's not covered in concrete. So they demolished the old concrete and replaced it, rather than just fix the crack or say it doesn't need to be fixed at all. $1200 gone like this, unnecessary. I'm very unsatisfied when I found out. So be aware when you deal with them.

They guy cam and after 5 minutes said he doesn't know what to do. Called his boss, sprayed some soapy solution on a pipe and left us with no hot water. They ripped me off for the lack of service and refuse to respond to my correspondence.
