I hired two bain-maries for a large function that was held at my workplace. We called to ask if the delivery address could be changed to a place in a nearby suburb but were told that the delivery was already on the way so couldn’t be change which is understandable – however they were delivered hours later. One of the units was in good working order but the other did not work, had no light and did not heat up at all. When I informed the company they said that the unit would be tested and they would call me back. A week later I hadn’t heard anything so I called back and they told me that it was working and they would not be issuing a refund which is blatantly untrue. I work for a charitable organization that relies on funding and donations to operate. I find the approach of Xtreame Party hire very unethical and with customer service like this we will not be using them again.

Hired sumo suits and adult jumping castle, bond was fully refunded with ease and setup was quick.

Would definitely deal with them again in future.

Placed an order for chairs, trestle table and other party related equipment.
Paid a deposit.
Two days before the party they rang to confirm delivery time.
They tried to charge me their increased prices.
They advised me of an extra surcharge on top of the increased prices. This surcharge was never mentioned before.
I cancelled the order but they refused to refund the deposit.

Be very careful because it is likely that the price you are told when you order your party equipment will NOT be the amount you are charged when it comes time for delivery.

It seems their practice is to get people in by offering lower prices and then when it is too late to go to another business to get your equipment they suddenly increase the prices.
