I thought it was a trustworthy service after reading the reviews. However, I realised I should have read reviews from Product Review and Yelp.



The contract was a joke. It contained alarmist language to create panic and urgency to discourage readers that pushes you into making a rushed decision.



There are many hidden costs and when you inquire about them, the staff were encouraging and told you not to worry about it. As soon as you sign the contract, everything changes. They are rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. It seems affordable at the start but there are many hidden costs.

We have used LCC for the sale of our old home and the purchase of the new one and have had straight forward transactions both times. The LCC people were very professional and assisted with everything we needed making the whole process very simple for us.

My good friend recommended me to Low Cost Conveyancing Services and I bought a Unit in Sunshine. I had a very good experience with that business. Funny enough the bank people knew of them and highly recommended them as well. My brother is now using them too.

Requesting additional funds a day before settlement without reasonable explanation is not only unfair but disgustingly wrong, knowing that the customer is not in a position to say no at such a critical point in time, It left me feeling backed into a corner without an alternative option a day before settlement.

When I had this experience, I had a look online to see the reviews of people where I discovered that Im not the first person who has experienced this, there other people as well. These are only the people who have taken the time to write reviews online, as I am sure there would be many more people who have not come forward and spoken out about this misleading conveyancing company.

First call made to Low Cost Conveyancing- requested a fixed price amount for their services, was advised $660.00 inclusive of GST with no added charges. I advised Kimberley that I had spoken with other providers who quoted a higher amount and that I did not mind paying a little extra as long as I knew the total amount; Kim assured me $660.00 is the fixed price with no more to pay. Once payment was confirmed and I agreed, Kim advised that she would contact me throughout the process with updates; however this was never followed through with as I had to follow up on everything.

20/01/17 (2:33pm)- It is the last day before the settlement and Kim still didn't bother to give me a call to tell me that we have got the details for the cheque direction the last day of settlement Kim sent me an email requesting more money. When I asked why have I been charged extra, her first response was that the settlement date was changed, I told her that I didn't change the settlement date, then all of sudden she changed and made up different charges. She First told me the charge will be $679 on top of $300 which was already paid! And when I told her that Im not happy as I was promised that I would only be charged a total of $660 she then reduced the amount by $22.

Thankyou is just not enough for the service my husband and I received! I feel that it only justified that I exert my expression of gratitude to Low Cost Conveyancing Services, the owner and the wonderful exemplary staff that handled our purchase of a property in Hawthorn. Sincere Regards, Megan.

After a lovely recommendation from my local real estate agent, I contacted Low Cost Conveyancing who were very professional from the outset. I might say that the ladies who work there were very professional in their approach with me and I found a lot of information they gave me to very helpful. I received quite a few updates from them by email which was good. I personally like phone talk over emails which is the only reason I did not rate them higher. Recommended.
