Unfortunately zero stars was not an option. Avoid at all costs. Highly discriminatory organisation which denied care (wisdom teeth removal) due to being a few kgs too much for their BMI limit. I am otherwise fit and healthy with no underlying medical conditions (not judged by anaesthetist as being high risk). Good luck finding this info on their website as they won't tell you until surgery is booked in. Yes, while they have a blanket policy of denying care based on set criterion rather than individual patient risk assessment this information is noticeably absent from their website.

Was told I could turn up on the day and if scales were 1 kg less surgery would go ahead but if it wasn't surgery would not (but of course would still be liable to pay surgeon and anaesthetist). A 1kg weight difference is going to impact my clinical outcomes / risk factors how exactly? 🤔



Denying medical care is pretty low. Not being transparent about it is even lower.
