Was very disappointed about the treatment I received with my wheel chair bound client. We have been funded by ndis for 8 visits to go to zone bowling at crossroads with a group of like minded people. My client has only use of right arm and that is limited due to brain injury. The week before our incident I found a bowling rack amongst the others he struggles with that could be put in front of him and he can push the ball down, it was brilliant, the other ones can not be used in front because the have a board that prevents it to be used in front. The week after there woman who was some manager or something there took the frame away he was going to use and said they were told that its illegal to use as it doesn't have 4 feet on the ground. It has 2 feet and it rested safely on his wheelchair arm rests. They were told this 2 Years ago she said....so why was it still there??. She said she was going to throw it in the garbage..I said no I will buy it....she said if I take it and come back with it she will BAN me from the complex. It was thrown away..

People that are in wheel chairs would know that it can be difficult to reach to the side to push a ball down a rack that also makes it difficult to aim because of the clumsy racks they have there that can't even get very close to some chair..Not very accommodating for people with physical disabilities.
