A View Turf

I would recommend A View Turf to anyone. From the minute I spoke with the owner Steve, there was nothing but polite and helpful service. Steve took his time to explain the different varieties of turf and ensured that I was provided with the best lawn for my circumstances. The entire team at A View Turf were very professional and helpful. If you want a great lawn and friendly service, then A View Turf is the place for you.

From the moment my turf was delivered on Sat 21st April I have regretted my decision to purchase from A View. The 280m2 of Palmetto turf arrived and after I paid the driver I received neither a receipt nor a Palmetto Certificate like other company's have provided. I asked the driver for them but was told he didn't have anything but he would let the office know and they would get something to me, I'm still waiting almost 4 weeks later. From the moment I started to roll out the turf I realised that the turf was well below the quality product they purport to sell. Numerous rolls had very little or no dirt under the turf, the edges were ragged, rolls had tears and holes in the middle of them, some rolls were almost ripped in half length ways with several rolls being completely unusable, due to the poor quality I ended up 2 rolls short even though I ordered extra to allow for off cuts. I rang A View first thing Monday and all day with no answer, I continued trying both the 1800 number and the mobile number on the message, eventually someone answered telling me that Steve was on holidays and would be back on Thursday but John would contact me to arrange to send me some rolls of turf to finish the job and replace some of the dodgy rolls. The following Monday and Tuesday I again rang several times eventually speaking to the same person who advised me that Steve wasn't coming back last Thursday but this Thursday but that it wouldn't be a problem and that they would fix it for me. Eventually I realised that they were going to keep ignoring me and when I saw someone who was selling some leftover rolls of Palmetto around the corner I bought them to finally finish my front yard. When I lifted up some of the rolls that were dying and looking like they just would not grow, to my surprise I found the ground crawling with Sod Webworm, as I pulled up more and more rolls I found more and more grubs, so given that my front yard had been nothing but bare dirt since mid January the turf was obviously infested. I immediately rang the mobile number and left a message saying what I had found and this would explain why no matter how much I watered my lawn it was dying in many places. That was on 10th May and I have had no response from them, to date I have spent quite a bit of money watering a lawn that was dying, buying pesticides to kill the grubs kindly provided in the turf as well as having to buy turf rolls to replace their dodgy rolls they refused to replace. Would I recommend them...never, why did I give them 1 star...because I can't give none!!!

Oh and apparently they are the Vice President of the NSW Turf Growers Association...

I was recommended this company after purchasing a small amount of product. I decided to purchase a large amount to do my backyard. This product was far from a superior product so I tried to contact the company straight away,only to not recieve a response to date. Once you purchase you are forgotten. I had at least 14 rolls that were unusable after purchasing 80sqm.

The staff from Aview Turf were very helpful, Steve had alot of advise in preparing my soil and which turf type i should select, the Matilda buffalo is great and was well worth it. Im really happy and glad i called Aview.
