My leather lounge is looking a bit worn and the colour seems to be coming off. Can this be repaired?

Abbsolve Services has a range of treatments that repair cut or damaged leather and even rejuvenate or repair the worn colours to make them look like new again.

My leather lounge is only 2 years old, does it really need professional cleaning?

It can be surprising just how much soil gradually builds up on your leather. This soiling can affect the protective finish, if your leather has one. If it doesn't the chemistry from your body can affect the pigment and this can lead to deterioration. We can give your leather a good thorough clean and then apply a special protective finish to help you keep it looking good and lasting longer.

Will the protector protect against everything?

It's not bullet proof. It basically buys you time to grab a cloth, tissue or paper towel and blot away the spill. It makes it harder for the spills to penetrate and makes it easier to wipe away spills before they become a problem. The protection treatment we apply to your leather provides a thin clear film that helps keep the soil and your body chemistry out of the pigment finish. It also helps restore the feeling of new leather.

Will the protector need replacement at any time?

Most leather manufacturers advise that you should clean and protect your new leather lounge every three months. We know this is just not going to happen. Nobody really does this so that is why we use our professional protection creme treatment after thoroughly cleaning your lounge. This way you only need to maintain it with a damp microfiber cloth. This saves you a lot of work, time, chemistry and money.

How often should I get my leather lounge professionally cleaned?

This can depend on how you use your lounge, it's location and the number of people using it. For the majority of our customers we find that we only need to professionally clean their leather lounge once every 18 months or so. The longer you leave it the more damage can be done to the pigment layer so keep an eye on it and call us as soon as you start to see a change in appearance.
