Yarrambat Park is a long, medium-level difficulty public course on land that is in the foothills of the Central ranges. I have played there about six times. It has reasonable length and great views of the nearby ranges. In winter you can sometimes see snow in the distance. The last is a great challenge as you get the choice of trying to carry the water halfway down the fairway. The tenth is also a good hole as you can get a good drive away to restart your round. After a lot of rain it stays dry because it is well drained. It is a long drive to get there and it can be very cold on a winter morning. If you are considering this course you might also consider Whittlesea.
