I recently called this company up to help fix my aircon units are they stopped working randomly. The guy finally arrived and I was expecting him to have a decent look at the units to see why they didn't work. He had a tiny look and said yeah I can service them right now for 3k and they "MIGHT WORK" or I can come back tomorrow and replace both the indoor and outdoor for 10k. After hearing that price I was very shocked and told the guy to leave and he was not happy I didn't sign the contract which was strange.

Had an aircon specialist come around as my AC stopped working completely. I paid the very expensive call out fee, expecting the guy to open up or have a good look at my unit to see if I can fix it without replacing it. He had a tiny look, didn't even take any covers off or anything and said "yeah we can service it for 3k or install a whole new system for 11k". Do not book with these people they will take advantage of you.

MAKE SURE TO READ ALL TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH
I rung this company up as my AC's just randomly stopped working. They requested an expensive $140 call out fee.
The specialist turned up about an hour after he was suppose to. Once he was here I noticed he didn't bring any tools up to the apartment, all he had was his iPad. Thought this was odd as I wanted him to have a look through my outdoor unit and indoor unit for a possible fault which requires a few small tools.
He had a quick two minute look at my unit and said yeah you have two options. I can service it for 4k right now or you can just get a whole new unit (indoors and outdoor) for 12k and was very pushy to get me to sign it. After saying this was expensive he said well its the only was I can fix it.
He demanded I sign this contract right now, I said no and he left.
A few hours later I got a phone call from this specialist and he said why did I not sign this contract? I said it's too expensive I don't have that amount of money nor did I expect it was going to cost this much. He got angry and hung up the phone on me while I was halfway through explaining that.
They will take advantage of you so be firm and careful when dealing with these grubs. Their prices are 4x the normal price of an install.
Do not go through the hassle I went through, I wasted $140 for him to come up with his iPad for 5 minutes and diagnosis nothing.

I called After Hours Electrical to take a look at my switchboard last night in Brisbane. I was asked to pay a $140 call-out fee and was reassured their prices don't change for after-hours service (the whole reason I picked them).
The guy showed up an hour or so later and was nice enough. I showed him the problem and then he reassured me we could fix it easily enough. Then out came the quotes... $2500-3400 to replace an RCBO and 2x RCBs. $2500 was to replace the switches but no safety check of the others... He was going to charge me $900 to check that the other breakers had their screws tightened down enough as part of the "safety package"... Asked him if I have any other options, he pretty much said those are the prices and they're market rate - take it or leave it - so I left it.
I had a local guy come out today and replaced all 3 for $200 including parts and callout (on a Saturday morning).
Steer clear of these guys and beware of all their fake reviews and fake advertising!

Can't say enough good things about Cyber Plumbing. Had a nightmare with a burst pipe late at night and they were there within an hour. They fixed it quickly without any fuss and were super transparent about the costs. If you need a reliable plumber, these are the people to call.

Our ducted AC system started making this odd noise and wasn't cooling properly. I reached out to this company, and they sent a tech over pretty quick. He was super professional, figured out it was a problem with the ducts, and fixed it without any hassle. The whole system's running smooth now, and the house is cool again. Glad I called them.
