Someone actually wants to provide a good service and not just change your gear box. Richard actually made an effort to find cheaper options. Good value service.

My thanks to Steve at ATC who had saved my $1000 as I was quoted from a different Auto Transmission (Hunter Valley) place that the torque converter will need to be replaced.

I decided to look for a second opinion, looking at the transmission places in the Parramatta area and noticed ATC who had positive feed back. Steve believed that it wasn’t a transmission problem, he suggested that it could be the spark plugs or leads or both.

I did as he suggested and changed the spark plugs, and low and behold, the car now "runs like a dream". 'll pass on your companies’ details with my work mates, family & friends who
have gearbox issues and highly recommend your service.

I've been looking for a honest and reliable transmission shop and I've definitely found the one. I come here for a normal transmission service and the customer service here are very professional and friendly. These guys knows their stuff. Also the pricing for a service is very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting these guys for your transmission needs.

Just went to active automatic for my 4x4 toyota transmission seen Richard, i recon im the luckyest bloke alive ,the knowlege he has fixed my ride in no time flat all that worry for nothing.I have been to other he is the first i can say you can trust. His prices are great, i offered to pay for his time told to forget it.That does not happen but here it did. there are no words i can use to say how much i reconmend active automatics thankyou richard

Honestly, the best I have ever dealt with, I gave him my car for two days , he had a look at it and scanned it, but because It was going to cost too much, I decide not to proceed with fixing it. He did NOT charge me a cent. Thank you

Quality service .....

I took my X Trail to Active Automatic, Richard was kind enough to do a test run and a diagnostic test on the transmission. After several attempt, did not find any error. His advice bring it to the shop next time transmission plays up and ended up with a handshake. Same day Transmission played up, I took the Exy back to him. He performed a routine test drive and a diagnostic test. He explained to me what's wrong as indicated by the reading in his electronic equipment. Only then did he make a conclussion and offered me two options (my choice). Cost was very reasonable and job done with in a good time frame. I am very pleased with the service and relieved with a peace of mind.

Comparrison:

Other work shops visited, recommendation was reconditioned or used transmission. Very costly option yet fault was just an electical component (Speed Sensor).

best service ever, was the only one that wanted to run the diagnostic check on the gear box, all the others said that I need a new gear box no questions asked! Cost was a fraction of a gear box and was done in a good time frame. Don't trust anyone until you give Richard a call.

Got my VW Golf's transmission fixed here, it was done at a much better price than anywhere else quoted me. Over a couple of months later and my car is still running perfectly. I would absolutely recommend active automatic transmissions to anyone!

I recently had my car serviced here and was very pleased with the service I received. My vehicle was in need of a good clean out and service and the guys at Active helped me get my car back on the road. I was extremely pleased with how quick they were able to finish my service.

I'll definatley be going back although they definatley overcharge on compard to some other mechanics in the area. I guess it pays to get good service.
