The owner is Richard Vella and he has owned the business since 2004 and worked here for five years previously prior to this. He began in the automatic transmission industry in 1991 giving himself over thirty years of automatic transmission and automotive experience. All of Richard’s staff are trained and qualified in the transmission and automotive industry.

      My son has had a run of bad luck since buying his first car. The transmission needed replacing. A call to Action Automatic transmissions Blacktown, was one of many he placed. As soon as he spoke to them they were helpful right from the start. They told him to bring the car straight down and had a look at it right away. Not good news...it had to be replaced. They were very good, and gave him all the options. They even helped him to source a replacement and fitted it the same day. I was very impressed with the level of service and felt they did everything possible to get my son back on the road, and spending the least amount of $$$ possible. Its nice to receive good service in an age where it seems that good service is hard to find. Thank you action we really appreciated your help.

      I believe in credit where credit is due so a big thank you to Active Automatic Transmissions for work done on my wife's Ford Falcon recently.
      The proprietor Richard was very professional and courteous in his manner. Everything from the way the car was road tested to explaining the transmission defects were all well communicated and explained. I ended up getting a reconditioned transmission which is performing fantastic. I had some questions about the transmission after it was installed which was taking care of with a next day road test just to make sure all was fine. I thought this was great after sales service.
      Again, thank you Richard and the team for the best in mechanical and customer service
