Echoing some of the reviews I have now read, I am also disappointed I didn't look into this company further before trusting them to repair my 65 inch Hisense tv.
On arrival to drop off the TV unit (Friday morning) the gentleman who served me was very apathetic, he had no interest in what I was there for and did not even bother to engage in friendly conversation. They took my payment to test the unit and said they would be in contact. The following Tuesday they have advised that Hisense no longer stock the part they need and this could not be repaired. I phoned the company to say I would come down and organise collection (side note: I had looked into another company who does TV backlight repairs & were willing to check my unit out). On Thursday midday when I have gone to collect, again the gentleman at the counter did not care who I was or what I was after. When he came back to speak to me after looking for my TV he had advised that the technician had pulled apart and stripped the TV unit (I can only imagine so they could use parts in the unit that they want) - there was absolutely no apology, no further comment or even an offer to reimburse. When I had stated that this was not what I wanted and I had let the reception number know I was coming to collect my TV all he had to say was "you can come back next week and collect. We will put it all back together for you i suppose."
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR ELECTIRCAL NEEDS.

Don’t go near these people. They would go out of business if people read their reviews. I did not (my fault) so was ripped off. It would be helpful if there were a suggestion in large print preceding all Google requests for companies that provide services, to READ THE REVIEWS! Those companies that have a good work ethic will be rewarded with ongoing business.
Had I read the exhaustive T&Cs protecting themselves when I confirmed a call-out by their technician, I may have smelled a rat.
The technician arrived and spent just over the time included in the exorbitant call-out fee to notch the cost up a further part-hourly rate. We were told the electrical board was at fault and would cost half of what we paid for the machine, and even then the machine may not work.
I was left with the same broken machine but hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Whether the fault was correctly or incorrectly diagnosed, their call-out fee is always guaranteed.

Peter was prompt courteous and helpful. Took time to explain the problem and options we had to rectify it. The office staff are friendly and helpful also. A pleasure to deal with all round which is extremely rare these days!

I had Colin come and look at a faulty washing machine. He had absolutely no idea what was wrong and spent most of his 45 minutes on the telephone talking to someone back at home base. He finally told me he thinks he has fixed it but there could be some other issue still. Cost me over $300 for his visit and after he left the exact same fault reappeared. Then I got an invoice saying the washing machine needed to go back to the worksop for testing and they wanted to charge $143 for pick up.

dont use this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are really not professional, i have really really bad experience with them.
they frist come to my house look at it and "find out" the problem, but the guy came say he might dont have parts, if he open up the cooktop and cant fit its weast of my money, and he will order the right parts for me. then come next time will not charge me call out fee which $110 (i was happy with it and think they are professional and doing good job) so i end up pay $143 (which is $110 call out fee and $33 for talking fee) but i was happy and waitting for them to fix my cooktop.
in following week ABC Electrical send me the quote with price $223.30 which $30.80 is the parts (i found out on the cooktop company they also sale the parts, same thing they sale it on $9.8, i understand they need make money) plus $27.50 postage also fair. they ask me pay $190.30, so i paid. here is point which in $190.30 i paid, takes out $60 parts fee, so there are about $130 larbour charge, on their webiste they quote $33 per 15mins, which 1 hour is about $133. which mean i paid 1 hours larbor already. as long as they fix it for me. i am okay with this but the disaster start when they come 2nd time.
about a week later another guy show up, and come to fix it for me. he is doing really not professinal job as the photos can show that he cant take the screws off, so he need to drill some hole and get it out, leave with some damges, you can see on the photo, big holes and when the job is done, the cooktop not level up with the cover, is goes under a bit.
also this guy cut himself while doing the job, as another two photos can see he left some blood inside of the cooktop, also when the job is done, some of the screws not not even screwed in. he didnt clean up, all drill dusty mess inside and blood still on the cooktop. so when everything is done i am expecting the problem is fixed so i dont need so sit here and make this compaint.
so everything is put back but with a bit mess not cleanned, we texted, and its still not working, this guy just said need replace something else and left. he just walk away says you will receive another quote then will come fix. the came on 11:45am and left on 12:30 which is 45mins, so here is the bad things start
so my idea, i paid $190.30, parts $57+ $33 per 15mins so 45mins makes about $99. so $99+$57=$156. i paid $190.30. please tell me, am i right? they should refund my $33 for the 15mins the guy didnt work for.
when i call up them, the lady on the phone is really rude to tell me, its not her bussiness for not fix the problem for me, and told me i am not getting my money back...... and says i have problem with my math at the end of the call, she just handed up........ OMG!!!!!!!!!!!
i really try to come down tell them, i dont really care about the $33 as long as you fix my cooktop. they just cant find where the problem is.
i expecting they should be find the problem and fix it, now they dont even sure what is the problem, when i ask the lady what about next come its still not fix, she said there is no guarantee.....OMG!!!! again. i dont mind to pay but they seems very unprofessional, they just come and try the problems, untill they find it..... they are charge a lot of money on this. thats what i cant accepte.
when i try to call them i dont want fight, i just want my problem to be fixed. but end up they start rude.
once again, i dont think they are going to be nice to me anyway, so i have to put this on google to let someone else dont scam by them.

I wish I would have read the reviews before using them.
They obviously don’t listen and they are rude and just there to rip you off.
I needed just a freezer handle as mine was broken
Told them exactly what part they needed to bring to replace the handle and a technician turns up the next day with no part just to observe it!! Are u kidding!! 143 to look at a broken handle
Then removed an unbroken part attached to the handle and actually broke the clips on it they told me to get some silastic or glue to put it back on
I was furious They turned up with no part just to check. Now they want me to pay another 155 bucks and wait on handle could be 15-18 weeks and if part not sort no refund will be made
So in other words telling me nearly 300 bucks to replace a handle that they may not be able to supply and I have something else broken they did to add to my problems
I asked for a refund answer no
The tech lied on what he did when he was here as he never removed the handle only a dress part which he broke
To get that broken part he broke replaced in 6-8 weeks is nearly 69 bucks.
I asked for them to pay for that but nope not their problem.
After trying to talk to a rude supervisor who tries to palm u off and don’t listen either it’s best to just take to fair trading as they didn’t supply what they said,
It’s funny reading reviews on here on google etc etc
Mostly just complaints about customer service people or being scammed and ripped off. But some employee answers some of the complaints with replies like that’s not what really happened as like with most complaints
Instead of doing that and not taking responsibility for staff actions and business why not try fix the problems
They seem to be much the same
Not everyone that complains can be wrong.

Would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. After paying over $400 for a part that initially didn’t work I then had to wait 3+ weeks for the replacement part, which I could have got from the manufacturer in 3-5 days!!!
They take your money then give you the run around!

Would not recommend this company. Technician dawdled, wasted time, chatted on the telephone to his colleagues and charged me for all this wasted time! Then really put the pressure on for me to commit to overpriced 'repairs' on the spot. When he left I made a few phone calls for comparative quotes and it turns out that ABC Electrical quoted me about $800 more than a competitor for the same parts.
When he left he failed to replace all the screws back on my oven. Head office advised that they would send him back to replace the missing screws but I would have to pay their call out fee. No thanks.
**updated** Further more, today I found out that ABC Electrical left un-terminated live wires within my oven. I called another electrician as I could smell and odd plastic burning smell when the stove was not in use and it was discovered that ABC Electrical technician simply duct taped live wires and the electrical heat was burning the duct tape. Our family was a house fire or electrocution waiting to happen.

Person attended and wasted time knowing they were going to tell me "parts may not be available" and fixing may cost too much. Took them half an hour. Very skilled at doing nothing. I will never consider getting anything repaired again. Bill $176

Do not trust or use this company under any circumstances. They came out to fix the rangehood, provided 2 options with one being to replace control panel and the other to install new rangehood. I didn't really want to replace the rangehood as tried this before with an electrican and the dimensions were tricky and he couldn't do it so called ABC to fix the existing unit. However, ABC recommended a new unit, he provided the model number of one that would fit and he said he could do it another time with only small 15minute fee on top of existing invoice so I chose this option. I bought the new rangehood and when it came time to install they said they do not install appliances and it was confirmed by the manager. So I was left with a $130 bill for someone to look at the rangehood. Unreliable, untrustworthy, ridiculous pricing.
