FAQs
Do I have to take the computer to Affordable Computer Repairs & Service?
No, we have a mobile service and can come to you, your home or your office if you are within our mobile service area. We do not charge a call-out fee, nor do we charge for the time taken to get to and from your home/office from our workshop in Coorparoo.
How much does it cost to find out what is wrong with my computer?
We charge $75 to diagnose the problem with your machine – you are not charged this fee if you decide to go ahead with the repair job.
How much will it cost to get my computer fixed?
We charge an affordable hourly repair fee of $150. We charge this hourly rate whether it is for Mac repairs or Windows-based computer. Parts, if needed, are extra. We do not charge additional rates for after-hours or weekend jobs. We never charge customers over three hours of labour for jobs undertaken in our workshop, no matter how long the repair takes. Most PC, Laptop or Mac repairs take between one to two hours.
Is it worth getting my computer fixed, should I just buy a new one?
With the cost of new PCs and Laptops now so affordable we understand your dilemma. For this reason, we offer a diagnostic service ($75 ) after which we will tell you what is wrong with your machine and how much it is going to cost to repair. We only charge this fee if you decide not to proceed with the repair of your computer – and we do ask you to bring your machine to our workshop in Coorparoo for this service.
Can I bring my computer to Affordable Computer Repairs & Service? Where is your workshop?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your troublesome computer into us, 6 days a week, 8am to 6pm.

Mark was very prompt in responding to my phone message, he organised collection and return of the computer at our convinence, he called to explain in plain english the problems, and fixed the problem at a very affordable cost. I would not have any issue in using him again, if I have any further problems. I will be recommending him to all persons I meet that have computer issues. I recently had a computer emergency and by a lucky Google search found Affordable Computer Repairs and Mark. Like a good doctor, he was reassuring and calming and treated my computer with professional care. I will use Mark's services again wherever I am in Brisbane. This is the second time that I have used Affordable Computer Repairs and Service and once again Im really impressed with the service they provided.
I was working from home when my internet access died. I had an important document that I had to finish that day and email to my boss. So I was a little stressed. I called Affordable Computer Repairs and Services and in under an hour Mark was able to come to my home.
He diagnosed the problem within minutes and patiently explained to me (Im not technical) what had to be done to get my internet access working again. Within less than an hour I had internet access again.
Mark did an excellent job. He really saved the day for me. He is professional, friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
I highly recommend using this company and will definitely use then again.

Great fast service, computer was delivered to my home; set fee, reasonable price, you don't get charged by the hour unlike other companies, and you only get charged for work done, no fee for simply finding out what's wrong with it (again, unlike other companies!). Would use their service again

Our computer completely died last week and Affordable Computer Repairs & Service were fantastic in helping me out. They immediately answered my call and arranged to pick up the computer the next day. Mark kept in contact during the repair job to let me know what was going on, and to let me decide which options we should take. The computer was back & good as new by the end of the week. Great service, highly recommend!
