The worst customer experience I have ever had.Ever

Three hours late to job, deliberate went slow, insisted we do two loads, but could've done it in one, turned up in a rental truck smaller than the one requested, no uniforms, movers had no logical sense at all, the couldn't drive either, ripping apart plants and trees, damaged several items, their insurance policy is so full of holes you will never get insurance. Each time you call you either get hung up on, or on hold for 40minutes, the drivers were intimidating to demand payment in a method not discussed beforehand, promised a refund of one hour that took over 40 phone calls and 8 hours on hold to sort. DO NOT USE

do not use this company

Worst removalist company ever. Booked for 9am as settlement was occuring at 2pm, knowing that gave more than ample time to be out of the property. They never showed up. Called the company at 9.30 and they said there had been a problem with the truck and they would call back in 5 mins. Never called back, we had to call them numerous times and they just kept putting us on hold. Hours later they said they could be there after 1pm. We told them not to bother and booked another company on the day. They made our moving day very stressful. I've since discovered that they do this to numerous clients, they book in numerous jobs, hire trucks and if they have too many customers, well bad luck they just show up hours later.

Must to avoid

Deceptive operators.

Offered me a fixed hourly rate. Then add surcharge for credit card. When I offered to pay by cash, he said card is the only option.

Workers are rough handlers. One of the worker is constantly on the mobile phone. Took double the time to load. I tried to give operator the right to reply before I write this review but he didn't respond. He did not give me any receipt as promised.

Would never recommend this company

They arrived 1hr 40mins late and only 1 guy showed up. The guy then decided to ring two of his mates to come and help which arrived another 45 mins later. There was no rush to get things done and we had to help just to get things moving along. All 3 of them were on their phones most of the time and basically just threw everything into the truck with no care at all. They didn’t bring enough blankets with them, the quote said they would wrap all of the furniture, mattress and couch but that didn’t get done at all. We had the same size truck that moved us from QLD to VIC which managed to fit everything for the 22 hour drive but these guys couldn’t fit everything in the truck because they packed it so badly. They yelled and argued and were very aggressive when we asked them to make sure everything got moved in one trip, which didn’t end up happening. We had to dismantle tables we have never had to do in previous moves. The boxes (including fragile ones) were packed in the truck upside down and passed out to us upside down at the other end, which baffled me. They broke the leg on my Chinese trunk. They broke one of the feet off my buffet. The bent the leg on my occasional chair. They have scratched the whole side of our $3000 outdoor table. All of our furniture is absolutely filthy and most of the boxes are squashed and out of shape, I’m sure we will discover more broken items. I said to them that we would never use them again after seeing all the broken stuff and one of the guys got really aggressive with me to the point where he was yelling in my face and one of the other guys had to pull him back and tell him to calm down. One of the guys demanded me open a box up to get him a glass of water because he didn’t bring his own. We ended up getting them to put everything into our garage instead of upstairs and into the bedrooms because they had already taken 5 hours to get the first part done. My partner and I have moved houses on our own before with just us two and a hired truck and done it quicker than these guys. This is the 8th house we have moved to in 5 years (including moving interstate) and I have never had an experience this bad. Extremely unprofessional guys and we will never ever use them again and would not recommend anyone to even bother with this company.

Utter Nightmare

DO NOT hire them! NOT professional. NOT experienced.



We had an extensive conversation about exactly how much stuff needed to be moved. We were advised packing on day 1, and then moving and unpacking on day 2 would be the best way to go. They said 2 people and 8 tonne truck would suffice. Move was within the SAME suburb. They were professional right up until the point they showed up.



Day before the packing they were supposed to call by 7pm. They called at 9:30pm to ask how much packing stuff is needed, and we advised them of that.



Day 1 Packing:

- They did not have enough materials for packing so left to go to Bunnings in the middle of everything

- 2 men spent THREE hours packing up a standard sized kitchen.

- They worked for about 8 hours and were not able to pack a 3 bedroom house that had minimal basic stuff, nothing extensive

- When asked for a receipt for materials used, they were not able to produce one but expected payment for materials

- They left stuff unpacked despite working for 8 hours, They're SO SLOW!



Day 2: Moving and unpacking:

- We still needed to pack things, they offered free packaging materials

- They did not provide packers on Day 2 even though half the house was still unpacked

- They AGAIN did not have packing materials so had to go to Bunnings

- Movers tell us they neither pack nor unpack, they just move

- The office had NO IDEA they were supposed to unpack as well despite our agreement

- Movers had to do 2 trips to move all the goods

- We called the company several times to ask for more people to help with packing up, and maybe a second truck because the packing was not done in time

- SAM (the manager) said he will send another truck but then DIDN'T

- SAM then said a second truck will cost extra

- SAM said the movers will unpack. Movers said they don't do that

- Three of us called the office several times in the afternoon and late into the night, and they REFUSED to talk to us. We were placed onto their "complaints line" and nobody would pick up, OR they would say they'd call back but never did.

- SAM AVOIDED our calls ALL DAY

- We ended up packing up our OWN car to speed up the move



The second truck load was taken to the new house at 11:30 pm. We were told we have to pay the invoice otherwise they will not unload the goods.

SAM the manager was telling the movers not to unload the truck but refused to talk to any of us to sort out the exorbitant invoice. The invoice also included estimated time to finish.



Their website states

""We don't invoice for future payments", and

"Payment for removalists services is to be made on completion of the move",

yet they HELD OUR STUFF HOSTAGE till we pay the invoice and refused to deliver the goods.



We called the POLICE for advice. SAM kept telling the drivers to just take the truck to the depot and unload everything there. He was abhorrent!!! Absolutely disgusting, and utterly unprofessional. He refused to talk to any of us directly. He said "let them call the police. They can't touch my truck. This is a civil matter and the police cannot do anything".



All we wanted to do was clarify their unreasonable invoice prior to payment. The truck then DROVE OFF with our things.



Eventually the truck driver called and we sorted something out so they would at least leave our things at the house.



These guys have NO intention of helping you. The workers move slow to make the most of the hourly rate. Some of the workers are good people and do their best, but their management is phenomenally incompetent, inept, and argumentative.



Instead of helping to make the move easier, the management of this company just repeatedly got in the way.



They didn't even unpack because by the time they finished delivering it was 1am!! We ended up hiring SOMEONE ELSE for unpacking.



DO NOT HIRE THEM! The positive reviews have GOT to be fake in light of how horrendously every little thing was handled in our case.

Mymoovers, Mitcham. Very poor service

Arrived one hour early. Not prepared, could not lift and basically had very limited idea on how to manoeuvre large items through doorways. My furniture has many scratches after this move.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They also charge by the hour and I believe they were far too slow.

Very poor service and not recommended.

The absolute worst move in my life with mymoovers mitcham.

This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever dealt with in over 35 years of moving house.

Professionals, 2 Men, the owner said, NO STUDENTS, RUBBISH. TWO YOUNG INDIAN GUYS ARRIVED, ONE COULDN’tT SPEAK ENGLISH. I DO NOT LIFT HE GESTURED. OMG. I WAS PULLING MY HAIR OUT.

THEY HAD NO IDEA ABOUT HOW TO MANOEUVRE FURNITURE AT ALL. SO MUCH DAMAGE WITH SCRATCHES ETC.

I DO NOT, IN ANY FORM, RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING. THEY WERE SO SLOW, HOURLY RATE, NEVER, EVER, AGAIN.

WE ALL HAD TO HELP ALSO. NOT HAPPY.

ZERO OUT OF 10.

THIS INDUSTRY NEEDS TO BE REGULATED.

Horrendous

Turned up 2 hours late. Left items behind at the house we moved out of and had to do a second trip. Didn't take things to the tip as promised. Your office hung up on my calls, didn't answer or kept me on hold indefinitely. I asked continuously for extra staff to come and help with the move as I had to be at the hospital and with the two hour start delay there was no way I would get to the hospital in time. We ended up helping move our own furniture and dismantled items. Not one word of apology for the late start or thanks for helping with our own move. I contacted MyMoovers over 30 times and still no one offered a solution to speed up the process. The move took 13 hours to complete when it should have taken 3-4.

Had a satisfying move with them, removelist were fast and professional.

Had a very smooth move of my 5 room house, they were well equiped, I requested for the packing and moving, which was done with in the given time and without any damage to my stuff.
