James is very nice when selling the car, shows his true colurs when you complain about the unroad worthy car he sold you though.

Against better judgement we purchased a car through Ventrua Auto. The staff during the sale were great but after having it less than a week and driving under 150kms the engine overheated and started smoking on the freeway, an hour away from home. We had a mechanic have a look at the car and he deemed it to be unroadworthy due to a number of faults with both engine and bearings. When we approached James about the issues and requested that he repair or refund our money he immediatley argued with us. We politely tried to explain to him that the car is not safe and there are numerous problems with it that we were not aware of at the time of sale, in between him talking over us saying we had 'buyers remorse' and claiming he 'knows nothing about the car.' He agreed to have his mechanic take a look at it on Monday, and when we called on Wednesday he claimed that because there was more paint missing than at the time of purchase (peeled off when washed with garden hose) he would not be doing anything to help fix the faults.

I have had the worst experience buying a car in Ventura Auto. Im so sad and dissapointed. From the begining my partner started talking with the seller by message (we live in Margaret River, and are from another country) there was information omitted and they took advantage that we could not inspect it at the moment. The saleswoman told us that the car was in a very good condition, we insisted a bit more if there was something we should know because we were interested in deposit to reserve the car and then travel to Perth to buy it .... just after a longer chat she told us that the ONLY problem was a crack in the windscreen that was going to be replaced for us after we deposit. Ok we deposit 500 AUD. Drove to Perth a few days after, when we arrived to Ventura Auto last tuesday 01/09/20 around 11 am the seller we were talking with was not there (she knew we were going that day and didnt told us)..ok no problem, another seller that never gave us his name took the process, we could not see the car or have a test drive because they were replacing the windscreen, we were told to come back again after 1 pm. We came back after 3 hours and then we couldnt see the car again because they were cleaning it ... "But come with me to the office to start the paperwork" he insisted. We signed and did all the paperwork, we payed for it (3490 AUD to complete the total price that was 3990... that was a stupid desition, we just trusted him). When we went out of the office and received the car we saw that it wasnt even clean (he lied to us!) the inside and outside have a lot of damage that wasnt told to us or showed in the photos: the driver's door cant be opened from the inside, we have to put the window down and open from the outside (that means if we have an accident we wont be able to get out of the car), the other front door cant be locked, the back lights doesnt work, the ABS lights in the panel are on and flashing all the time showing that there is a problem...he said: "ooh is because we put a new battery you have to turn it off the next service", and more problems. Without leaving the place we asked for a refund and he refused at all times... but gave us his word that he was going to pay for fixing the door but we must do it in Margaret River and he didnt want to give us his phone number or name (so how he would pay for it? Clearly he wanted us to leave!) Also the car was suppoused to come with the service history and it didnt. We asked to talk to the owner of the place at least, he also refused and went into the office with no more answers.
