Metropolitan Air Conditioning aims to keep our customers comfortable in all climates, all year round.
Our story began in 1995 with the inception of our first plumbing business in Adelaide, SA. Our modest operation soon grew across Australia as we followed our passion for delivering excellence into other utility trades, including air conditioning and other heating and cooling solutions. All of air conditioning technicians are fully qualified, insured and have undergone extensive training to meet our high quality standards before starting work with our clients. We continuously train our staff so they are up to date with leading air conditioning best practice.
Do you charge extra for public holidays or weekends?
No we don’t! Regardless of the day or time, we never charge extra for after-hours attendance.
What are the methods of payment?
On site, our plumbers accept cash, credit card or cheque. We also have finance options** to approved applicants. If you would like to take advantage of these, simply mention it on the phone to our friendly call staff.
What other services do you offer?
We also have a team of qualified electricians and plumbers, so if you need more than just your air conditioner serviced, we can attend to all your electrical and plumbing needs too!
Are you available on weekends?
We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays!
How do you quote?
We quote by job, not by hour. And we’ll tell you the fixed price before start, so you know exactly what you’re up for.

We supply, install and service most makes and models of air conditioning and heating systems, including Braemar, Breezair, Kelvinator, Carrier, Lennox, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Nec, Hitachi, York and many more!
How quick can you arrive?
Wherever possible, we can be at your door within the hour*. If you have a time/date preference, we will always do our best to fit in with your schedule.

I feel sick that I was stupid enough not to read reviews before contacting this company. I called and requested a clean of my evaporative aircon and was charged $141 for an insanely overpriced 'quote' ($1000 for a service). This is daylight robbery. Disgusting business model. I litterally just paid $141 for absolutely nothing.

Feb 22 we were quoted 3k for a service which took only 3 hours and felt like the guy was just killing time, now a year later and after noticing our ceilings sagging found a leaking pipe from the unit! The whole ceiling needs replacing.

Wish I read the other reviews or watched the ACA special before I got works done.
Charged over 3 thousand dollars for a service and the tradesman spent more time limbing around our house on his phone or sitting in his van than he spent looking at our Air Conditioner.
