I sent my laptop in to get a quote to fix the casing. They tried to charge me for the WiFi switch too, which surprised me, because it was working fine.

When I told them I wouldn't have money until next week, I came to get it back, and the WiFi didn't work at all! I went back before they closed and complained that they fix it, and while they fixed the WiFi, now the sound card isn't working. I don't want to go back because I'm worried they'll keep doing the same thing.

Looks like they make their own problems to charge you to fix. You wouldn't want this from an Auto mechanic, so don't let a computer technician do the same.
