I got three quotes to replace my 20-year-old ducted system, and Ben Rafferty's was the best (just), with a very detailed quote (the third quote was for $4000 more, and followed the most cursory inspection). All quotes were for Daikin systems. Early last month the Ben Rafferty team came in two vans, laid carpet protection throughout the house, and got to work. They were friendly and professional, and cleaned up beautifully after the work was done. I had two follow-up visits to fix some ducting connections in the roof which had come adrift, and also to make adjustments so I could get better heat flowing downstairs. All this was done efficiently and with a determination to ensure the system was working as well as it could. I'm delighted with the new aircon, and also with the service provided by Ben Rafferty. We had trouble getting aircon companies to commit to quoting. No one would return calls & then we came across one of Ben's vans at a job in the street and we photographed the number to call. The young man who was on the job came out to see if he could help and gave us his business card. Subsequently phoned, received efficient details of date for Ben to quote, follow up SMS re minder, Ben turned up, gave guidance, advice and we accepted quote. We had some issues with our strata management which Jane and Ben & the team eventually ironed out and install date set. Nathan and Hayden turned up yesterday, professional & friendly, completed the installation with smiles on their faces even though a couple of issues with power cabling (not their fault) and now we have our aircon. Our installation was a pretty difficult one, given the feedback from all the different quotes we got. So glad we went with Ben Raffertys, the guys did an awesome job, and cleaned up after themselves as well. I would highly recommend.

I just can't be happier with Ben and his team - they are simply the best and the most professional tradesmen I've ever come across! They are such a very well organised and efficent team working together like a well oiled machine. At every stage of dealing with them, from the first contacting to quotation to installation, I was so impressed that everyone was 100% committed to their job, making the whole process so nice and easy. Especially after I had tried to get other companies to come and quote for months, either they never replied or dragged the quotation process for so long that I had to give up.
The split unit Ben recommended is a perfect choice working so well and quiet that I hardly notice any noice at all. The workmanship was exceptional. Ben and the installation team were puntual and polite, they paid great attention to detail during the installation, they covered the working area with dropsheets and cleaned up when they left, so neat and tidy.
Once again, a big thank you to Ben, Jane (for excellent communicating and coordinating) and the installation team! You definitely have made us a very happy customer -:) Surelly we will come back again and recommend you to friends and family!

We have never had an experience with a more professional, polite, friendly, considerate tradesmen. All rubbish taken away, with a thorough cleanup. I live in Tasmania and rang on behalf of my brother as his air conditioning wasn't working - not so good in mid-winter. He has a disability and is confined to his home in Sydney. Not living in the State myself with any idea who to contact was a problem and two other firms had already told me it would be at least a couple of weeks before they could even send someone to take a look.

After explaining my brother's circumstances Jane in Admin had a service representative there within an hour and both problems were fixed on the spot and my brother had his heating back on again that evening.

I cannot recommend this firm highly enough both for their kindness and professionalism that they showed to me and my brother and only wish they serviced Tasmania as well and would definitely use them here as well ! If you need a professional and reliable service with the human touch you will not be disappointed. Five stars from me and would give more if the system allowed !
