Our story began in 1995 with the inception of our first plumbing business in Adelaide, SA. Our modest operation soon grew across Australia as we followed our passion for delivering excellence into other utility trades, including air conditioning and other heating and cooling solutions. Do you charge extra for public holidays or weekends?
No we don’t! Regardless of the day or time, we never charge extra for after-hours attendance.
What are the methods of payment?
On site, our plumbers accept cash, credit card or cheque. We also have finance options** to approved applicants. If you would like to take advantage of these, simply mention it on the phone to our friendly call staff.
What other services do you offer?
We also have a team of qualified electricians and plumbers, so if you need more than just your air conditioner serviced, we can attend to all your electrical and plumbing needs too!
Are you available on weekends?
We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays!

Wherever possible, we can be at your door within the hour*. If you have a time/date preference, we will always do our best to fit in with your schedule.

BEWARE!!! Quoted $1,240 to clean 1 wall mounted air con unit. What an absolute joke. Paid $140 over the phone already to have someone come out and severely over quote an air con clean. Should be ashamed of yourselves. Disgusting.

We were recently charged over $1000 to service a not functioning split system air conditioning unit. Additional quotes for the service and clean for these systems is an average of $300. The unit had been broken for over two years and was advised by Metropolitan that it needed to be cleaned. After cleaning the unit, an inspection of the condenser found that it required replacing. The quote to replace this unit was close to $10000. Again additional quotes to replace the unit have been less than $5000.
In this case Metropolitan have not conducted their business in a fair, transparent and ethical way, misleading us to overpay for services that we not required to rectify the cause of the airconditioner failure and have attempted to over quote for the replacement of the split system.
We are currently seeking the full refund of the $1249 charged by Metropolitan to clean a non functioning slip system airconditioning unit.

The last time our AC gave out, we decided to give Metropolitan Air Conditioning a call. They did a thorough inspection and found a refrigerant leak we didn't know about. After a quick repair and system recharge, our AC has been working better than ever.

"You'll pay the same rate on Sunday at 11pm as you will on a Tuesday at 10am" - FIRST WARNING SIGN.
Overcharging is an understatement. Quoted $23k for a new AC unit when 10K max. Given only two options for a REJUVINATION SERVICE which means someone comes out, looks at the machine and leaves. Technician REJUVINATED nothing! I pad nearly 2K for a technician to only disrespect my furniture. Conveneintly there is no one who can handle my complaint five days running. Each time, customer service advise that a manager will contact me the next day, each day no one called

The so-called "technician" arrived equipped solely with an iPad and devoid of any tools. After snapping multiple photos of the A/C unit, he swiftly concluded that it was beyond repair. He then went back to his vehicle, spending a brief five minutes before returning with a staggering quote of $8,000 to replace a 3.5kw A/C unit. If falling victim to a scam is your cup of tea, this company is undoubtedly your go-to choice. There's no possible explanation for this company to have received so many positive reviews. It's simply another scam.
