Our story began in 1995 with the inception of our first plumbing business in Adelaide, SA. Our modest operation soon grew across Australia as we followed our passion for delivering excellence into other utility trades, including air conditioning and other heating and cooling solutions. How qualified are your air conditioning technicians?
All of air conditioning technicians are fully qualified, insured and have undergone extensive training to meet our high quality standards before starting work with our clients. We continuously train our staff so they are up to date with leading air conditioning best practice.
Do you charge extra for public holidays or weekends?
No we don’t! Regardless of the day or time, we never charge extra for after-hours attendance.
What are the methods of payment?
On site, our plumbers accept cash, credit card or cheque. We also have finance options** to approved applicants. If you would like to take advantage of these, simply mention it on the phone to our friendly call staff.
What other services do you offer?
We also have a team of qualified electricians and plumbers, so if you need more than just your air conditioner serviced, we can attend to all your electrical and plumbing needs too!
Are you available on weekends?
We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays!
How do you quote?
We quote by job, not by hour. And we’ll tell you the fixed price before start, so you know exactly what you’re up for.

We supply, install and service most makes and models of air conditioning and heating systems, including Braemar, Breezair, Kelvinator, Carrier, Lennox, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Nec, Hitachi, York and many more!
How quick can you arrive?
Wherever possible, we can be at your door within the hour*. If you have a time/date preference, we will always do our best to fit in with your schedule.

We just had a split system AC installed. The process was smooth, with minimal disruption. The unit is working excellently, cooling the space efficiently. The team was knowledgeable and tidy during the installation.

BEWARE!!!
I had a technician scheduled to look at my aircon, which is not blowing cold air.
I was told on the phone most issues are resolved on the spot, and at least I'd get a diagnosis of the problem. I paid a $141 deposit for the callout in advance, expecting that would be the case.
My appointment was scheduled between 12pm-3pm, yet I was made to wait until 6.30 pm - meaning I was stuck waiting hours on end. The technician arrived but didn't know what the issue was, and recommended I get an exorbitant $1000 "revitalisation" - but that that was no guarantee of a fix/diagnosis. So much for the 'fixed price quote'. He also said a new unit would be 6k plus, as well as installation - which a quick look online reveals to be another lie.
What's more they seem to mislead on the website, claiming a 4.8 star rating, when Product Review is 2.5, and Yellow Pages is 4.3 (but looks like they've been posting fake good comments about themselves there). At any rate, this is misleading advertising about the Gold Coast Air Con part of their business.
Under the circumstances I requested a refund for the technician callout which was 3 hours late, did not diagnose the issue or provide a fixed price as mentioned, but was told since the technician came they would not refund.
Extremely late service, extremely high quote, extremely misleading communication - AVOID.

Aircon stopped working called at 5:30 came out at 8:30pm no extra charges for being late in the evening.worked very hard.We are so happy now,we won’t be sweating it out this summer. Highly recommend this company.THANK YOU JOE

Quick response to what turned out to be a simple problem, so glad we called them for a second opinion! Metropolitan Air Conditioning even offered to take their shoes off when they came in, which I have yet to experienced with any company. Will definitely use them again! Services: HVAC system maintenance!!
